| Abstract: | A sterically congested tetraphenyl-substituted dibenzo-tetraaza-isobacteriochlorinato nickel derivative unexpectedly reacts with methanol at room temperature to release internal molecular strains, leading to the formation of a ligand having a skeleton bearing two cis-methoxy substituents. |
