Some reactions of 1,3,5-Triaza-7-phosphaadamantane and its 7-Oxide

The synthesis of 1,3,5,7-triazaphosphocine and 1,3,7-triaza-5-phosphabicyclo3.3.1]nonane derivatives via nitration, nitrosation and acetylation of 1,3,5-triaza-7-phosphaadamantane and its 7-oxide is reported. A comparison of the reactions of the triazaphosphaadamantane with the analogous reactions of hexamine is made.
