Abstract: | An effective method based on supported ionic liquid system was employed to immobilize chiral Mn(III) salen complexes. The prepared heterogeneous catalysts exhibited excellent activity and enantioselectivity in the asymmetric epoxidation of unfunctionalized olefins. Especially, in the epoxidation of α-methylstyrene, both the conversion and ee value could exceed 99%. Furthermore, the immobilized catalysts were stable and could be recycled three times without loss of activities. |
