Study of Comparison between Variation and Claim in FIDIC Conditions of Contract

Variations and claims are often appear in the international engineering as well as the emphases and difficulties in contract management of domestic and foreign engineering, which easily cause confusions to us. To systematically study the relation between them, this paper analyzes their differences and relation on defini- tion, scope, character, cause, principles of treatment, valuation and payment, processing program. So the both concerned sides should distinguish them and grasp the relation in contract management.
