| Abstract: | The effect of Er doped fiber amplifier (EDFA) saturation on the frequency filtering characteristic of active fiber ring resonator is studied theoretically and experimentally, when a high input power signal is injected and EDFA saturation is induced. The optimization of active fiber ring resonator is discussed considering the effect of EDFA saturation. |
