摘    要:1,3,5-三甲苯与溴素在水溶液中反应生成2,4,6-三甲基溴苯(1,收率90%);1制备成格氏试剂再与甲醛反应得到2,4,6-三甲基苄醇(2,收率79%)。2经铬酸氧化得2,4,6-三甲基苯甲醛(3,收率90.3%)。3的总收率达64.2%,纯度97%。2和3的结构经1H NMR和MS确证。

Abstract:2,4,6-Trimethylbenzaldehyde(3) was synthesized from mesitylene via bromination,Grignard reaction and oxidation in an overall yield of about 64.2% with a purity of 97%.1,3,5Mesitylene reacted with bromine in water gaving 90% 1-bromo-2,4,6-trimethylbenzene(1),which was made into Grignard reagent and then reacted with formaldehyde to give 79% 2,4,6-trimethylbenzyl alcohol(2).2 was oxidated by chromic acid.The product was distilled giving 3 in yield of 90.3%.The structures of 2 and 3 were confirmed by 1H NMR and MS.
