Microscopic calculations for the two 5/2 − resonances of the nuclei 7Li and 7Be

Abstract:Calculations for the two 5/2 ? resonances of the mirror nuclei 7Li and 7Be are performed within the framework of cluster representations of nuclei. Using the same microscopic forces for both nuclei, their phase-shift and resonance width differences in the energy region of the 5/2 ? resonances are shown to be mainly due to effects produced by the Coulomb interaction.
