Population of muonic ³He states following the μ-catalysed fusion $pμd → μ^{3} He$

Abstract:	Recoil due to emission of the 5.5 MeV γ-ray in the fusion reaction $pμd → μ^{3} He$ and dynamical corrections to the Born-Oppenheimer approximation lead to excited muonic states in the final $μ^{3} He$ atom. The branching ratios for the lowest excitations are calculated.
