Effect of electron correlation in Kronig-Penney model |

| Abstract: | A one-dimensional model is proposed to investigate the symmetry-breaking-induced transition from the band limit to the atomic limit. The model calculation shows sharper transition for stronger intra-atomic correlation effect. |
