THE MONITORING IONIZATION CHAMBER FOR THE CALIBRATION OF EXPOSURE METER

This paper presents the construction,the performance,and the usage of a thin window monitoring ionization chamber used for the calibration of X ray exposure meter.As regards repeatability,the discrepancy of data from the chamber is within 0 2%;the relative error of in line exposure meter calibration is less than 1% at moderate filtering,no greater than 2% at heavy filtering.
