The decay of the neutron deficient plutonium isotopes 232, 233 and 234

The plutonium isotopes²³²Pu,²³³Pu and²³⁴Pu were produced by (α,xn) reactions with²³³U. After a chemical separation their decay was studied by γ-ray and α-spectros-copy. For²³³Pu twenty-seven γ-ray energies and intensities were measured and a decay scheme is proposed. An additional α-transition was detected for²³²Pu. The half-lives were determined for all three isotopes.
