| Abstract: | A method is described for calculating the influence of vibrational motion on the electric field gradient tensors at deuterons in solid hydrates using librational tensors. The method is applied to model calculations to illustrate the effect of normal modes which involve a mixture of standard wagging, twisting and rocking modes. |
