Density and relative permittivity of (pyridine + 2-methoxyethanol, 2-ethoxyethanol, 2-propoxyethanol,and 2-butoxyethanol) binary mixtures at 298.15 K
Abstract:The densities and relative permittivities of binary mixtures of pyridine with 2-methoxyethanol, 2-ethoxyethanol, 2-propoxyethanol and 2-butoxyethanol have been measured as a function of composition, at T = 298.15 K. From the experimental data the excess molar volume (VE) and the deviation in the relative permittivity (Δε) from a mole fraction average have been calculated. The results are discussed in terms of intermolecular interactions and structure of studied binary mixtures.
