A Spectrophotometric Method for the Determination of Propoxur

A simple spectrophotometric technique is reported for the determination of propoxur using the coupling complexing agents namely 2-amino, 4-nitrophenol and 2,4-dimethoxy aniline. The u max observed for these coloured complexes were at 402 and 460 nm respectively. The recoveries of propoxur pesticides obtained using the above procedure were reported in their formulations, water and food grains.
