Reflectivity and dynamical conductivity ofn-type HgCr2Se4

Summary Reflectivity measurements have been done on dopedn-type HgCr₂Se₄ (n≈(10¹⁵÷10¹⁹) cm⁻³), at various temperatures ((4÷300) K) in the infra-red range . The spectra show the structure of a plasma edge and reststrahlbands. Data have been analysed by a Kramers-Kronig procedure. The deduced dynamical conductivity shows an anomaly near the plasma frequency ω_p. The transmitivity measurements show a strong temperature dependence of the conduction band.
