Abstract: | The X-ray crystal structure of 2-amino-3-cyano-4-(4-methylphenyl)-6-methoxyl-1,4,9,10-tetrahydrobenzo f]chromene 1, C22H20N2O2, is determined. The crystals of compound 1 are triclinic, space group P-1, a = 10.120(1), b = 13.127(1), c = 15.203(2) Å, = 67.841(9), = 80.81(1), = 77.58(1), Z = 4, V = 1819.7(4) Å3. It is interesting that all the atoms of the pyran ring are coplanar, which is different from other similar compounds. The structure is stabilized by intermolecular hydrogen bonds. |
