| Abstract: | Osmium Nitridotrichloride, OsNCl3 OsNCl3 was prepared by the reaction of (NH4)2[OsNCl5] with chlorine at 300°C, forming a black, X-ray amorphous moisture sensitive, paramagnetic powder which was characterized by IR spectroscopy and measurement of the magnetic susceptibility in the range of 5–300 K. |
