| Abstract: | Abstract A 8-methoxypsoralen<4556>thymidine C4-monoadduct was photolyzed with tetramethylethylene to obtain an analogue of thymidine<5645>-methoxypsoralen<3456>thymidine C4-diadducts. The structure of the adduct was determined by physical methods and a triplet manifold was proposed as the reactive state for the photocycloaddition reaction. |
