| Abstract: | On the study of reduction of some steroidal ketones with keto groups in the nucleus and side chain, it was found that the reduction with NaBH 4 CH 3OH, in the presence of different kind of metal ions such as Cd 2 , Co 2 , Ce 3 etc. , may lead to different regio and stereo selective results and obtain different products. |
