Abstract: | The problem of secure communication via parameter modulation in a class of uncertain chaotic systems is considered. For a given uncertain master chaotic system, a robust adaptive observer-based response can be constructed to synchronize the drive system. The information signal is used to modulate one parameter of a given chaotic system. The resulting chaotic signal is later demodulated and the information signal is recovered using an adaptive demodulator. The convergence of the demodulator is established. Theoretical analysis and numerical simulation on Chua's circuit show the effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed scheme. |
