| Abstract: | This review contains the analysis of the state-of-the-art data on synthesis, structure, and practical application of metal sols in ionic liquids. Problems related to stabilization of metallic nanoparticles by the components of ionic liquids are analyzed in detail. Information on catalytic properties of metal sols in ionic liquids is generalized. Examples illustrating practical application of these systems in diverse areas of science and technology are presented. |
