Abstract: | Gas diffusion electrodes for electrochemical reduction of carbon dioxide were prepared and their electrocatalylic activities were investigated using KOH aqueous solution as an electrolyte. Various metal oxides such as ZnO, ZrO2, TiO2,Al2O3, Nb2O5 were used as the support for Cu catalyst. The current density was amounted to 500 mA/cm2, and reduction products significantly changed depending on the metal oxide supports. |
