A Novel Transform Matrix Used for Image Scrambling

In view of image information security, the author constructs a novel transform matrix W, proves its transform periodicity, and also compares its periodicity to that of Arnold matrix transform. Theoretical analysis shows that the W - matrix has much longer period than Arnold matrix does in the conditions of two - steps and three - steps, and therefore is better than Arnold matrix at image scrambling processing, which is proven by simulation results.
