Taking Liu Xie＇s Literary Theory for example, this paper analyses the differences between the literary theory of the Six Dy- nasties and the modem literary criticism in criticism attitude and criticism method and points out the enlightenment of the literary theory of the Six Dynasties on the modem literary criticism.
