| Abstract: | Shouchun, which is called Shou County now in Anhui province, was the throat of central China and the southern fortress dur- ing the north - south confrontation in the history of China. It was a battleground contested since the ancient times. This article intends to discuss its strategic position from the superior mountain situation and the military value of Shouchun in the period of the confrontation of the Song dynasty country and the Jin nation. |
