| Abstract: | We present a theory to describe the enhanced transmission of a weak tunable probe laser with a wavelength near 3 μm in the presence of a high-intensity saturating beam with a wavelength near 10 μm. The mechanism responsible for the increased transmission is the depletion of holes in the heavy-hole band by the saturating beam. |
