| Abstract: | The spin-spin 1J(C-Si) coupling constants were calculated by the maximum overlap approximation method for a series of related organosilicon compounds. It was concluded that the variation in hybridization of the relevant carbon atom accounts for the changes in 1J(C-Si) observed experimentally. |
