| Abstract: | A new relationship has been obtained experimentally between the amount of pre-strain and the decrease of yield stress due to the Bauschinger effect. From this relation, the yield criterion including the concept of kinematical hardening has been derived. This criterion has been successfully applied to the strain-induced mechanical anisotropy of isotropic materials. |
