Aplanatic hologram lenses on spherical surfaces |

| Abstract: | It is shown that if an off-axis Fresnel hologram is formed on a spherical surface the hologram as a lens will be aplanatic if the position of the reference and object points satisfy the condition (l′)?1 + l?1 = R?1. |
