Abstract:The paper investigates the structure of quinoline-soluble and chloroform-iu-soluble fraction(LFI),and quinoline-insoluble fraction(QI) of Shenmu and Liulin vit-rinites preheated at 626K by FTIR-PAS technique.It is shown that FTIR-PAS techniqueis the most sensitive tool for probing complex hydrogen bond structure and quanitative analy-sis of coal structure comparing with tranditional FTIR technique,The QI and LFI fractionsof Shenmu vitrinite have higher content of OH and ether group than those of Liulin vitrinite,so that there is complex hydrogen bond structure in QI and LFI fractions of Shenmu coal.The aliphatic chain subtituent of Liulin vitrinite is shorter,and its aromaticity is higher.
