Large deformation field near a crack tip in rubber-like material

This paper deals with strain field near a crack tip in a rubber-like material under plane strain condition. The constitutive relation adopted here is valid for both small and large strain. The asymptotic equations are derived for a shrinking sector and expanding sector. The closed mathematic solution is obtained for the latter while a numerical solution is found for the former. By connecting deformation of the two sectors, the crack tip field character is found.
