Astigmatism free holographic lens elements |

| Abstract: | By applying the s and t formula for a hologram lens on a curved surface the conditions which must be satisfied for astigmatism free imagery are derived. It is shown that for hologram lenses formed on surfaces which are conic sections or on a plane surface, astigmatism free imagery can be obtained for extended objects. |
