| Abstract: | The radioisotope99Mo was separated from a mixture of235U fission products in the presence of Hg2+ by sorption on a chromatographic column filled with Al2O3 and elution with 1M NH4OH. Trace impurities of131I in the molybdenum fraction were eliminated by selective sorption on silver iodide or by repeated sorption of99Mo on Al2O3. |
