Reaction of 1,1,2,2-tetrafluoropropanal with phenylhydrazine

Conclusions The reaction of 1,1,2,2-tetrafluoropropanal with phenylhydrazine gave difluoromethyl-glyoxal bis(phenylhydrazone) and mesoxaldehyde tris(phenylhydrazone); reaction with phenylhydrazine acetate in aqueous medium gave 1-phenyl-4-phenylazopyrazole.
