Abstract:
The temperature behavior of the low-frequency Raman spectra of vitreous and supercooled liquid benzophenones is investigated experimentally. The structural phase transformations are studied by differential scanning calorimetry. The results obtained suggest that the structure of glasses involves nanometer-sized fragments similar to the structural elements of the crystals.
