Ellipsoidal bag model for heavy quark system

Abstract:The ellipsoidal bag model is used to describe heavy quark systems such asQ
$$bar Q$$
,Q
$$bar Q$$
g andQ2
$$bar Q^2 $$
. Instead of two step model, these states are described by an uniform picture. The potential derived from the ellipsoidal bag forQ
$$bar Q$$
is almost equivalent to the Cornell potential. For aQ2
$$bar Q^2 $$
system with large quark pair separation, an improvement of 70 MeV is obtained comparing with the spherical bag.
