| Abstract: | An efficient one-step synthesis of 2-indolylalkylamines was proposed. The synthesis involves the Fischer reaction of phenylhydrazine with cyclic imines containing a CH2 group in the α-position or with amino ketones containing two CH2 groups in the α-position with respect to the C=O group. |
