| Abstract: | A new procedure was developed for the introduction of the oxoalkyl fragment into N-heteroaromatic compounds of the pyridine and quinoline series. The procedure is based on the solid-phase reactions of lead tetraacetate with aromatic N-heterocycles and tertiary cycloalkanols. |
