PRELOCALIZATIONS AND NATURAL NUMBERS

Abstract

A natural concept of pointed endofunctors which are close to localizations with respect to both, the reflection property and the preservation of finite limits, is introduced and characterized in terms of factorization systems. These results are applied to two categories of natural numbers.
