Abstract: | Abstract Conventional generalized Ermakov systems are shown to be a subset of the class of second order ordinary differential equations invariant under sl(2,R) symmetry. When the system is two-dimensional, it can be reduced to a one-dimensional time-dependent simple harmonic oscillator by a suitable choice of new time and distance variables. |
