| Abstract: | Five new pregnane glycosides, perisepiumosides A–E ( 1 – 5 , resp.), along with the seven known constituents 6 – 12 , were isolated from the root barks of Periploca sepium Bge . (Asclepiadaceae), a traditional Chinese medicine used for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and wounds. Their structures were characterized on the basis of spectroscopic analyses. |
