| Abstract: | A spectroscopic method is suggested for quantitative determination of some alcohols (1-butanol, 2-methylpropanol-2, 1-hexanol, and glycerol) in mineral oil I-20A used as a quenching medium. The efficiency of the method suggested is tested both in model mixtures and in samples of quenching media. The method can be used in laboratory and industry. A. N.
