A new sesquiterpene trilactone from the roots of Ginkgo biloba |

| Abstract: | A new sesquiterpene trilactone, named bilobanol (1), along with four known terpene trilactones (ginkgolide A, B, C and bilobalide) were isolated from the roots of Ginkgo biloba collected in Jiangsu Province, China. The structure elucidation was accomplished by 1D and 2D NMR methods, HR-ESI-MS, and CD spectrum. |
