| Abstract: | The Schrödinger equation with a periodic potential which is the sum of two cosine functions admits simple analytic solutions for the ground and the first few excited states of a rotating body. This potential may be used to describe the torsional oscillations of a molecule with m and 2m-fold barriers. |
