| Abstract: | A truncated fifth-order model has been solved numerically. In certain parameter regimes there is a bifurcation from symmetrical to asymmetrical oscillations, leading to a period-doubling cascade which is followed immediately by a period-halving cascade and a bifurcation back to symmetry. |
