| Abstract: | The presence of the heterogeneous mesoporous Al-MCM-41 catalyst remarkably accelerated the cyanosilylation of various aldehydes and ketones with trialkylsilyl cyanide, giving the corresponding cyanohydrin silyl ethers in quantitative yields under mild reaction conditions. |
