Infrared absorption spectra of polyarylenealkyl compounds. Polychlorophenyleneethyl

The absorption spectra of polychlorophenyleneethyl have been obtained and interpreted over the range 680–3100 cm^?1. The type of substitution in the monomer unit of the polymer has been established by examining a number of spectral regions, and its structural formula is given. A number of bands have been assigned to definite types of vibrations.
