| Abstract: | Alloxazine and lumichrome have been synthesized from symmetrical o-aminoazo compounds and barbituric acid. The yield of these compounds is considerably lower than when they are synthesized from unsymmetrical o-aminoazobenzenes and barbituric acid.For part XVII, see [1]. |
