Abstract: | Localized resonant absorbing states of ions due to a random potential modulating the structure of superionic conductors are shown to be responsible for ac current response maxima in high frequency tails. The theory allows for interpretation of the microwave maxima found in samples of α-AgI and β-Cu Br exhibiting strain-induced texture, and also in some polycrystalline ionic structures. |
