Local environment effect in substitutional alloys

The local environment effect in substitutional alloys is considered. We calculate the local density of states by adding a local scattering correction to the average Green's function of the single-site coherent-potential approximation. Our numerical results indicate the importance of a local environment to the local electronic structures.
